Hello and welcome to my motoring blog where I make reviews on the worlds best super cars, in this blog post I will be talking about the new Koenigsegg Agera One:1.



My First Thoughts

The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 doesn't look like the the potential new fastest production car, This Koenigsegg is not the prettiest of the super cars, unlike Lamborghini or Pagani who at least make their super cars look good as well as produce beautiful piece's of machinery, The Koenigsegg Agera One:1 is to be fair built to perform on the track where I believe it will fit in nicely, The engineering of this car has been beautifully done as you can see from the performance figures it boasts.

The Price

Unfortunately the price for the Koenigsegg Agera One:1 has not been revealed as it is set to be announced at the Geneva Motor Show, all though a bit of research my estimate for the price of the Koenigsegg Agera One:1 will be from $1.9 million - $2 million, all 6 Agera One:1's that Koenigsegg are planning to make have sadly already been pre sold.


The Details

The Swedish manufacturer have really outdone themselves with the Agera One:1 with a colossal 1322 BHP which has a power to weight ratio 1:1 which is the reason for the name, with only 1340 kg and 1322 BHP which is 1340 Metric Horsepower this Swedish hyper car's BHP triumphs over the McLaren P1's the La Ferrari's and even the Bugatti Super Sport, this rocket of a car boasts.

• 5.0 Litre turbo charged V8 engine 
• 1011 ft of torque 
• 7 speed Duel clutch Gearbox
• electronically controlled differential 
• Claimed top speed of 273 mph (Which would knock of the Hennessey Venom GT from the top spot) 
• The body and chassis is made from a new type of carbon fibre which is 20% lighter than the Agera R
• Use of 3D printed technology for the turbo housing and titanium exhaust tip
• moveable front a rear wings 
• 2G while cornering while using road legal tires (2 times more than normal super cars)
• predictive active Chassis and aero track mode system all controlled by GPS and 3G connectivity 

I have never been a huge Fan of the Koenigsegg but the Performance figures and the use of 3D printed technology have definitely made me think twice about what will be next to offer from this Swedish manufacturer.

Extra Fact

The Koenigsegg will never be able to claim the Guinness world record due to all 6 cars being pre sold.

Conclusion

To come to terms with the fact that their are so many new hopefuls for the title of worlds fastest production car I cannot say that this will beat the Hennessey Venom GT which has already claimed a top speed of only 3 MPH under the Koenigsegg Agera One:1's, all though I will be keeping my eye open.
