Maserati GranTurismo

Hello and welcome to my motoring blog, today I be taking you through the in's and out's of the Maserati GranTurismo.

My First Thoughts

The Design for the Maserati GranTurismo is very eye catching, a very sleek and creative design and as you can see from the above pictures looks great in white (Blacks great too), the granturismo has a modern feel to it and would not look out of place being next to a quarter of a million pound super car, the grill at the front is very unique to Maserati, and fits the part in this beautiful super car.

The Price

Maserati have priced this beautiful car at a modest £82,255 around the same price range as a Jaguar F type R, and I have to say the design and quality that you get out of Maserati consistently is worth £82,255, sadly this does not include all the best features and Prices just on metallic paint will cost an extra £564, and with it being in the worst category for emission and insurance group the tax and insurance will set you back a hefty amount, the cost to fill the tank of a Maserati granturismo will be a
whopping £111.63 and the price of petrol is sure to rise.

The Details

Maserati have included a 4.7 litre V8 engine which will produce a decent maximum torque of 420 nm at 4750 RPM, and a maximum RPM at 7,100, all this power will create 453 BHP which is pretty bad for a £82,255 street legal Production car, other features the Maserati GranTurismo include are as follows.

• Top Speed 177 MPH
• 0-61 MPH in 5.2 seconds 
• Maserati Stability Program (MSP) Reduces Torque automatically when sliding and triggers the brakes
• Very customizable for exterior and interior Colours.
• For the customers with Exquisite taste, Tailor made interiors are available to create you perfect Maserati GranTurismo 

This is only a short list of what you can expect from a Maserati GranTurismo.

Extra Fact

The Maserati GranTurismo was designed by Pininfarina and based on the previous model the Maserati Quattroporte.

Conclusion

To be honest I had a tough time trying to find anything that stood out on the Maserati GranTurismo, don't get me wrong the Granturismo is a beautiful super car and the interior designs customers can come up with is very interestingly exquisite, but their was no passion with the GranTurismo and all though I wanted this to be a great Maserati I have to admit I am not interested in what the GranTurismo has to offer.
