A quick look at the Tesla Roadster

Hello and welcome to my blog, I'm glad you could make it :)
Today I am going to do a bit of a twist, instead of being a normal fuel propelled super car, I am going to write about this Tesla's version of a super car the Tesla roadster.


My first thoughts

Well this looks like a lotus...
I like it :D

The price 

Tesla have put a whooping $101,500 or £61,534 price tag on this electric car, so you will have to really love the environment because you can buy a 2012 Nissan GTR for less, But despite have the huge price tag, this car looks amazing and it realises zero emissions (unless you put into consideration how the Tesla roadster get its electricity from) But we are not going to dwell on that.

The details

This car can seriously move, with a top speed of 125 mph and a 0-60 in 3.7 seconds its hard to believe this thing doesn't have an engine in, it has an electric motor, (to be precise) with a custom micro-processor lithium-ion battery which has 6,831 individual cells,, the charge time is 3.5 hours from empty and you will be getting 211 miles from a full battery which is not great but not bad for an electric car.

Conclusion

This car is to expensive, not enough miles for the battery life, but does look great and have a decent top speed, I don't want to be to hard on Tesla because they are doing all this with just a battery, so in that case i think its great
