Hello and welcome to my motoring blog, today I will be talking about a rather astounding achievment and the beautiful machine that achieved that achievement, today I will be talking about the NEW worlds fastest production car, You excited too?

My First Thoughts

Love it! this stretched lotus body with the power of a Bugatti veyron it such a brilliant mix, one of my favourite car's is a lotus so this may be slightly biased but I have loved the look of them ever since I was young and to have the New fastest street legal production car in a warped lotus shell gives me goosebumps.

The Price

The Hennessey Venom GT is not only the new fastest production car but also cheaper than the old fastest the Bugatti veyron super sport, not saying that it is much cheap than the Bugatti, Hennessey have priced the Venom GT at an enormous $1.2 million or £750,000 plus local taxes.

So for the good bit, the Hennessey Venom GT has rear wheel drive mid 7 litre V8 engine, which can produce a staggering 1155 lb ft or 1566 nm of torque @ 4400 rpm, can can create an amazing 1244 BHP @ 6600 rpm, here is a short list of features that are included on the Hennessey Venom GT.

• Twin Precision Ball bearing Turbo chargers
• electronic sequential multi port fuel injection system
• Michelin pilot sport cup ZP tires 
• Stefano ricci bespoke interior 
• 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds
• 0-100 mph 5.6 second

But for the big news, the Monster of a super car the Hennessey Venom GT has in fact broke the record for the fastest production car at a mind blowing 270.49 MPH!!!

this isn't even as fast as it's supposed to go, but an estimated top speed of 278 MPH I am expecting great things from the Hennessey Venom GT

Although I do hope for a race with the Agera R, Aston martin One 77, Bugatti Veyron super sport and the Hennessey Venom GT all for one big race, " Ahh one day!"

Extra Fact

The process of building a Hennessey Venom GT take from 6-8 months due to having to buy a donor car from lotus then where they strip it and build it up again.

Conclusion

Incredible, I have always been a fan of Lotus body's and with the ferocious power Hennessey are able to create I feel happy, Amazing car deserves an amazing review, thumbs up Hennessey Brilliant work!
