Hello and welcome to Motoringblog, my little hobby, Here I will be talking about the new Jaguar F-TYPE R coupé, I will be including the juicy details and of course how fast this car goes.
My First thoughts
My first thoughts were what is the difference between this car and the Jaguar F-TYPE coupé, it wasn't until I looked into it more that I knew it was much more than just the power of the car, But i have to say this car looks great, I am also liking the fact is very customisable, this would make a great car to add to the collection.
The price
So yeah the price, this car that is due to be on sale in March 2014 has been estimated at £85,000 which is almost £9000 more than the 2012 Nissan GTR, but you could easily spend £90,000 plus with all the customisable features they are offering.
The details
The Jaguar F-TYPE R coupé has the massive 5.0 litre 550 supercharged V8 engine under the bonnet, which is a big step up from the Jaguar F-TYPE coupé's 3 litre 340 supercharged V6 engine, This means that this car can get up to speeds and QUICKLY,with a staggering 0-62 mph in 4 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph and a maximum torque of 680nm this monster is more than 20 mph quicker than the original F-TYPE coupé.
The Jaguar F-TYPE R standard features are rather impressive, these include Torque Vectoring which jaguar say "Its supplemental Torque Vectoring technology provides controlled braking on the inside rear wheel, at the same time as feeding more power to the outside rear wheel, to help increase steering performance and inspire even greater driver confidence."

But not only does the Jaguar F-TYPE R coupé boast this, it also includes, Jaguars super performance breaking system which have 380 mm front and 376 mm rear break disks, these are come with there standard red callipers, this amazing car also includes quad exhaust pipes, standard body hugging performance seats, which also has engraved (as standard) the R badge on the head rest of the seats.
Extra Fact
Some of the customisable upgrades for the Jaguar F-TYPE R coupé include carbon ceramic brakes, Meridian 770W surround sound system, panoramic glass roof ( Which I think look absolutely stunning, just saying), Powered tailgate and a number of good looking alloy wheels to choose from.
There is just a couple of customisable add on alloys to the Jaguar F-TYPE R coupé.
Conclusion
So to come to a conclusion on the Jaguar F-TYPE R coupé I believe that this cars performance stats and design look beautiful, I do believe that the they are pricing this car for to much and considering all of the amazing customisable options there are available which would be more obtainable if it was cheaper, but this car overall is a great car, and would love to drive it one day.
